Singer and Confederate deserter from the 2003 film Cold Mountain. He's teamed up with banjo player Pangle (Ethan Suplee) and fiddler Stobrod Thewes (Brendan Gleeson).

He runs afoul of the Home Guard.

Played by real singer Jack White of The White Stripes.
