In the "Alexandra" episode (15 Feb. 2013) of sketch comedy television series Portlandia Fred and Carrie both start dating their roommate Alexandra (Chloë Sevigny). They don't realize it until they both show up a small Portland club to see her band (Alexandra and an unnamed keyboardist) perform (she covers the Violent Femmes song "Add It Up" and changes the lyrics to make it happy).
