Played by Katharine McPhee, Bailey is the singer in an unnamed and unsuccessful country band, in which she plays with her boyfriend Boone. In an amazing stroke of bad luck, she loses her band, her home and her man all in a single night, and ends up becoming the nanny for a widower and his 5 children.
