Powdered Sugar is a band mentioned in Canadian-American author Gordon Korman's 1983 teen novel Bugs Potter: LIVE at Nickaninny.

"And it’s more than a coincidence that you failed your physics test the very day after you were out until four a.m. seeing that rock group.
