The Drips is a band mentioned in Canadian-American author Gordon Korman's 1983 teen novel Bugs Potter: LIVE at Nickaninny.

"Hey, it must be amazing for you with your dad running the hot-dog stand at Yankee Stadium. You must get to see all the groups!"

"Well, yeah," said Gus. "The Yankees, the Red Sox, the Royals —."

"No, I mean the groups! The groups – Dorchester Melon, The Drips, Garbage, The Antennae, and Endomorph!"
