Rick Jagmund (Richard Dawson) and his business manager Warren Zweig (Warren Berlinger) are swarmed by fans and groupies. They escape to Rick’s hotel room barely escaping. Rick complains about the perils of stardom and Warren complains he wishes he was a rock star being chased. He makes the joke that his mom always told him to become a rock star. Rick has a great idea, if Warren would put on his wig and wear one of the rock stars outfit he could be the rock star for the night. When the maid (Angel Tompkins ) comes to the room there’s some confusion that she is actually a groupie in disguise. After some 70s level “crazy misunderstanding”dialog and Joy the maid’s constant rebuffs of the presumed rock star, Warren realizes she may be more interested in him as himself. Joy of course doesn’t believe him until the real Rick Jagmund returns to the room. Warren convinces her to join him for dinner, but when he leaves the room to change clothes again, Joy throws her self at the real rock star.

It's a good guess that the name of this character may be a bit of a spoof of real life British rocker, Mick Jagger. Maybe?

From the second season and 24th episode of the American television series Love, American Style.
