Pompous English musicologist who interviews the famously eccentric pianist/composer Glenn Gould in "A Glenn Gould Fantasy," a satirical hourlong recording Gould made in his home studio and released on The Glenn Gould Silver Jubilee Album (1980). Gould performed the voice of Twitt-Thornthwaite, as well as Karlheinz Klopweisser and Theodore Slutz. (CBC broadcaster Margaret Pascu played Márta Hortávanyi.)
