One of the many jazz personalities created by DJ/producer Madlib. Since 2000, Madlib has brought forth an ecosystem of imaginary bands and musicians by releasing material on the Stones Throw Records label. The first act in this context was Yesterdays New Quintet. Ahmad Miller was a member of that group and made his first recordings playing vibraphone for them. "Say Ah!", Ahmad Miller's first solo album, was released in 2003. On this record he is credited for playing vibraphone, flute and synthesizer.
