The unreachable big rock group mentioned in Joe’s Garage, a rock opera released on three LPs by Frank Zappa in 1979. A couple of songs in the opera focus on Toad-O's sleazy road crew, especially roadie Larry, who lures girls into humiliating sexual acts with the false promise of meeting the band. It is believed that Zappa based Toad-O on Toto and their backstage behaviour.
