WJAZ, "with jazz and conversation", is the independent radio station mentioned in Donald Fagen's song 'The Nightfly' from the eponymous 1982 album. It's probably a local station, since the first verse includes the announcement "Hello Baton Rouge". The first-person character in the song is a DJ named Lester the Nightfly. He drinks Java coffee and smokes Chesterfield Kings.
