Funk band of the past, mentioned in the 2012 young adult novel A Rockin' Mystery, number 10 in The Hardy Boys Secret Files series, by "Franklin W. Dixon," the house pseudonym for the Hardy Boys novels since they were first published in 1927.

Mom Susie Zermeño used to be in it.

Frank met Joe's eyes, "Is your mom involved with the Bayport Battle of the Bands?" he asked her.

Speedy turned back to face them. "Yeah, she said. "My mom used to tour as a backup singer for this funk band, the Mignogna Brothers. Maybe you've heard of them?"

Joe nodded. He was pretty sure his dad had a Mignogna Brothers record. He could remember the cover, with a bearded guy on the front.
