Henry & The H-Bomb

Garage band described in the Mott the Hoople song "Henry & The H-Bomb." Apparently recorded in 1969, it was not released until 1993 on the compilation album, The Ballad Of Mott: A Retrospective. It was written by singer Ian Hunter.

Sometimes the name is given in the plural, Henry & The H-Bombs, but it's singular on the album credits.

Alt-country band Wilco and it's singer Jeff Tweedy performed the song live. Tweedy even did guest vocals on singer Ian Hunter's 2007 Shrunken Heads album.
