Eighties New Wave act from the film Music and Lyrics. Hugh Grant played frontman Alex Fletcher. The rest of the unnamed members: Nick Bacon was the bass player, Andrew W. Blakemore was the guitar player, and Dan McMillan was the drummer.
Their song "PoP Goes My Heart" is note perfect recreation of mid-1980s techno-pop, especially real band Wham!
They were on Atlantic Records.
