Jazz animal band from the 1998 children's picture book Mama Don't Allow by Thacher Hurd. Local kid Miles (some kind of mammal, maybe a possum?) gets a saxophone for his birthday and forms a band. They play for a riverboat full of alligators.

Lineup:

  • Miles, saxophone (Opossum? Hedgehog? Capybara?)
  • Al, drums (some kind of red bird?)
  • Bert, guitar (parakeet or parrot)
  • Doc, trumpet (mouse or rat)
