Fictional radio station in Pima, Arizona from Fadeout (novel by Joseph Hansen), 1970. The first of 12 mystery novels featuring gay insurance investigator Dave Branstetter.

Singer/songwriter Fox Olson had a popular radio show on KPIM, where he sang and told stories about the fictional town of Cottonwood Corners. Olson died when his Thunderbird went off a bridge, but where's the body?!

As of 2015, there is a real KPIM in Oklahoma.
