Parody of real band Herb Alpert and The Tijuana Brass from the 1966 album Al Tijuana And His Jewish Brass by comedian Lou Jacobi.

The name itself is a reference to the fact that Alpert was Jewish and his band had no actual Hispanics in it.

The album features pop tunes of the day introduced by bandleader Al Tijuana in a heavy Jewish accent, and played in an amusing mish-mash of Alpert's style and traditional, minor-key Jewish style, sprinkled with a healthy dose of Spike Jones-type funny noises.
