The Beetletown Players

Unseen band from a skit on the "Flat-Top Tony And The Purple Canoes" episode (October 10, 1997) of HBO's sketch comedy TV series Mr. Show. They are credited with playing the ridiculously Beatle-derivative instrumental "Got a Good Thing Going" on Beatles-Esque Records. The A Hard Day's Night parody video was directed by fake director Famous Mortimer (later played on the show by comedian Patton Oswalt).
