Hugh Clancy

The best announcer and DJ at radio station WXYZ from the "A Record-Breaking Affair" story of romance comic book Cinderella Love #27 (April 1955).

His program is Clancy Brings You the Classics. He falls for his manager's assistant, Sally Barton. This leads to shenanigans, and a bunch of broken records. Clancy is forced to switch genres and play hillbilly music, his pet hate. But the audience response is positive, and he starts a new show, Clancy's Clambake.
