Stage name of singer Rhonda Wayne in the "Sweet Song of Love" story of romance comic book Teen-Age Love #31 (April 1963). She and Steve Alcott were childhood sweethearts, and now dating in high school. Rhonda's a big hit at the Doverville High variety show, catching the attention of New York theatrical agent Bruce Carling. She parts with Steve after graduation to join Bruce in the big apple. Bruce wines her and dines her and she sends Steve a "dear John" letter. But then Bruce dumps her. Rhonda changes her name to Lori Francis and gets a real agent, and goes on the road as a torch singer. In St. Louis, Steve comes calling out of the blue and they reconcile.
