Jazz band mentioned in the "Variation Two: Old Friend" section of the 1965 novel I Love You, I Hate You, Drop Dead! Variations on a Theme by real musician and bandleader Artie Shaw.

Singer Billy Miles recorded vocals with them and The New Orleans Washboard Blues Blowers back in the early 1930s or late 1920s.
