Malllon Crane Romantic Hearts.png

Rising singer from the "Love Conquers All" story of romance comic book Romantic Hearts #1 (March 1951). She's directing the small town of Plainview's production of Song of the Desert. But rival Jessica Walton and her rich dad bring in professional singer Crane Mallon to direct.

Blake and Mallon start dating, and Mallon encourages her singing career. But then he disappears, only to turn up a dead Lt. Commander in a Navy plane crash in the Korean War. Turns out nasty Jessica Walton lied to Mallon that Blake would meet him at the airport. She apologizes, and Blake throws herself into her work and goes on to success in the revue Revels of 1950. When she thinks she hears Mallon singing, she doubts her sanity, and sneaks their old duet into the show. This causes Mallon to miraculously turn up alive with amnesia, that's instantly-cured by her singing!

They go on to tour for the troops together, get married, and have kids.
