A traveling evangelical singer with a near magical voice, known by no other name from the 1968 novel The Gospel Singer by Harry Crewes.

His voice was his way out of the dead-end town of Enigma, Georgia. His manager is a lunatic asylum escapee who has named himself Didymus.
