Dad Niessing

Composer at an unnamed university who is murdered for his Stradivarius violin, in the "A Song of Murder" short story in comic book Trapped! #2 (December 1954).

He died with an awl and sheet music in his hand. His friend, policeman Ed Donegan, figures out Niessing punched a message in Braille in the paper: "Jimmy Carson shot me. Took Strad."

Probably Niessing was blind or partially sighted.
