Elmo Frizzbey

Elvis Presley-like star in the "Celebrity Hungry" story in Prize comic book All for Love vol. 3 no. 1 (#13, April-May 1959). "The teen-ager with the magnetic voice- whose unique singing style had made him a wealthy hit overnight!"

He uses his southern-fried accent to ask local autograph-chaser Darlene on a paparazzi-filled date. She gets starry-eyed, but the next morning Frizzbey reveals it was all a ploy to make his real girlfriend jealous and get some free publicity.
