Famous bygone human composer from the Dune series of science fiction novels. An entire planet is named after him, and noted for its high culture and production of balisets. Chusuk seems to have lent his name to a number of things, including a musical scale to which balisets are tuned, horns, music cubes, and an Academy.

The planet Chusuk is mentioned in the first book, Dune by Frank Herbert. The earliest mention of Emi Chusuk, the composer, is in Legends of Dune I: The Butlerian Jihad, 2002, by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson.
