Bookaboo

Adorable British dog puppet rock star drummer from the British 2009 kids television series Bookaboo and the 2016 Amazon Studios remake, also titled Bookaboo.

Every show starts with Bookaboo refusing to go on stage because he has to have "a story a day or I just can't play!" Then a celebrity guest shows up at Bookaboo's lavish tour bus to read him a picture book. At the book's completion, Bookaboo's rock star tantrum is over, and he goes back onstage and plays.

Marcus Clarke voiced Bookaboo in both incarnations.

Bookaboo's bandmates are Paws (Matt Ficner in both series) and Growler (Frank Meschkuleit in the 1st series, Jason Hopley in the second).

Real rocker Meat Loaf guest starred in the first episode of the 2016 series.
