Jump to navigationJump to searchFrom at least two General Cinema trailers shown before the feature film. These shorts, made by LucasArts, encouraged patrons to buy drinks and snacks and to put their drink and snack trash in the trash can. They ran from 1992 to 2002.
In one trailer, an animated popcorn bag guy and his sexy Pepsi cup date go see The Candy Band play. This group of talented anthropomorphized snacks is a five piece combo:
Lineup:
- Yellow Raisinets box with sunglasses on saxophone
- Peanut butter cup on trumpet
- Red Butterfingers box on guitar
- Soda cup on drum
- Popcorn bag on standup bass
They play a rockin' fifties-style version of the General Cinema theme music.
