From the song "The Sheik of R&B" by Ray Stevens from his 1991 album #1 with a Bullet.

This wealthy member of the Saudi Arabian nobility (Abdul) discovers a love of Ray Charles, B.B. King, James Brown, and Bo Diddly. He learns to play the guitar and travels to Chicago, where he stays, playing the south side.

The name is a pun on the 1921 novelty song "The Sheik of Araby," "Araby" referring to the Arabian peninsula.
