Truck driver turned opera singer from 1949 film That Midnight Kiss; played by real opera star Mario Lanza.

European-trained singer Prudence Budell discovers him, gives him his big break in her mother's opera company, and falls in love with him.

He replaces Guido Russino Betelli (Thomas Gomez).
