Violin player, singer, and Confederate deserter from the 2003 film Cold Mountain. He's teamed up with banjo player Pangle and singer "Georgia" (Jack White).

He's the no good father of hard-working Ruby Thewes (Renée Zellweger) who claims to have reformed thanks to music. He runs afoul of the Home Guard, but survives.

Played by Brendan Gleeson.
