Paul Curtis

British pianist, conductor, and composer who moves his family (American wife Helen, and daughters Jan and Ellie) to an creepy old house in the middle of a creepy vast forest, in the 1980 Disney horror film The Watcher in the Woods. Curtis bought the house from creepy old widow Mrs. Aylwood, whose daughter disappeared years ago, creepily. Creepy things happen.

The film is based on a 1976 young adult novel of the same title by Florence Engel Randall, where the father is a professor named Carstairs instead.

Played by David McCallum.
