Novelty musical toy invented by Joe Pellettieri, and introduced in 2000. When it detects someone near, this mounted bass on a plaque turns its head and sings "Take Me to the River," a 1974 song written by singer Al Green. The singing voice was by Steve Haas). It also sang "Don't Worry, Be Happy," a 1988 hit for Bobby McFerrin, but done by a different singer (not Haas).
