One of the many fictional jazz outfits created by DJ/producer Madlib in the 2000s. The releases by these 'bands' on Stones Throw Records often looked and sounded as if they were vintage and discovered in a second-hand record store, with pre-printed ringwear on the cover and pre-recorded vinyl crackling in between songs.

Suntouch appear on the 2007 compilation "Yesterdays Universe!" alongside the flagship band in this context, Yesterdays New Quintet. Suntouch contributes the track "Two For Strata East". Strata East is an independent avant-jazz label from New York founded in 1971 by musicians Charles Tolliver and Stanley Cowell.
