Psychedelic rock band with a weird name discussed by two fans at a concert by The Marmalade Mirage in the comic book Harvey Pop Comics (aka Rock Happening), volume 1, No. 2 (November, 1969).

Also mentioned are The Ostriche’s Galoshes, The Checkerboard Cupcakes and The Pineapple Telephone.
