Buzzy Brown

Teenage trumpet player and swing music hep cat from DC Comics series Buzzy. He had a five piece combo with his sax-playing pal, Bink. Buzzy First appeared in All Funny Comics #1 (Winter 1943-1944), and got his own series starting Winter 1944 and lasting for 77 issues (October 1958). Eventually, the musical motif was dropped, and Buzzy became more and more an Archie clone.
