Singer/actress from the 1954 version of A Star Is Born. Real name Esther Victoria Blodgett, she's played by the inimitable Judy Garland.

The title track for her movie It's a New World becomes the number one song in the country.

Later she wins a best actress Oscar for the film A World for Two.
