Albie Snow

Fictional jazz musician from The Education of Albie Snow, a huge, 1,900-some page unpublished autobiographical novel by real musician and bandleader Artie Shaw.

The character first appeared in his short story "Snow White in Harlem," published in his 1989 collection The Best of Intentions and Other Stories.
