Sourdough Tony

Tony Laport is a pop singer sensation in a half dozen stories in the comic book [ Treasure Chest of Fun and Fact He first appeared in vol. 19, #11 (#357, January 30, 1964). Known as "the voice of Alaska," his home state. He asks friend Chuck White to come to NYC to be his manager because he doesn't trust his current one, Vince MacGee.

Unable to remember how he got in a car wreck, he heads out camping, leading to a police search, a press panic, and hit and run charges for Chuck.

Chuck gets it all settled, but Tony calls it quits and heads back to Alaska.
