Rising opera singer in Munich in the 1910 novel by Gertrude Atherton, Tower of Ivory.

She's really Margaret "Peggy" Hill from the American Midwest.

The novel was turned into the 1920 silent film, Out of the Storm, with Barbara Castleton playing Margaret Hill.
