Wolves N' Sparrows
Wolves N’ Sparrows is a fictional band appearing in "The Plagiarist's Wireless" by Christian A. Larsen in the anthology Fortune: Lost and Found (Omnium Gatherum). Larsen based Wolves N' Sparrows on elements of the real bands Steppenwolf and Guns N' Roses.
In the story, Wolves N' Sparrows was formed in the late 1960s in Chicago by singer Jimmy Sparrow, guitarist Asa Fielding, bassist Pat St. Patrick, keyboardist Gordy McShane, and drummer Asa Fielding after the dissolution of the group 'The Werewolves'.
The group breaks up in 1977, with Jimmy Sparrow retaining the rights to the band's name and he disappears into retirement, only to be discovered in 2010 by a rock journalist for Digital Vinyl Magazine, who wants to know why.
Sparrow shows him an antique radio, the special properties of which have everything to do with the mystery.
