From the 2005 best selling novel The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (original title in Swedish: Män som hatar kvinnor – "Men Who Hate Women") by Swedish author and journalist Stieg Larsson.

"Through Cilla she [Salander] had become a member of "Evil Fingers," which had started as a suburban band consisting of four teenage girls in Enskede who were into hard rock. Ten years later, they were a group of friends who met at Kvarnen on Tuesday nights to talk about boys and discuss feminism, the pentagram, music, and politics while they drank large quantities of beer. They also lived up to their name."
