Funk band from the song "The Cocoa Boys" by Prince, recorded as a demo on September 14, 1986. The recording was shelved and not released officially until 2020 on the expanded reissue of Sign o' the Times.

There was a band called The Cocoa Boys

The leader was a brother named Frankie

He was the ladies pride and joy, yes he was

Now Frankie had a brother named Joe

And they shared the high-part harmonies

Joe played the bass, Frankie played guitar

And people, I mean they was too funky
