Horn of Palzer Strange Terrors.png

Fictional hunting horn in "The Horn of Palzner" story of comic book Strange Terrors #7 (March 1953). Turns out Medieval-era German monk Palzer somehow used it to summon aliens from the planet Bellerophone to the little German village of Toll-Eichenberg, despite sound waves being incapable of traveling in the vacuum of space, not even mentioning the speed of sound is too slow to reach any alien planets.

Anyhoo, the aliens' ship crashed and they went into suspended animation. Now, 800 years later, Palzer's mysteriously back for no apparent reason, and uses the horn to waken the aliens, control them, and try to take over the world.

The world is saved thanks to a totally random flood, and no thanks at all to American G.I. protagonist, private Steve Braydon.
