Lester Lanolin

Quick joke on the name of real jazz/pop bandleader Lester Lanin (1904-2007) in the "Return to Peculiar Place" story of comic book Go-Go #2 (August 1966).

One of the characters, Purity O'Shanahan, in the soap opera parody runs a record store and mentions him. Her daughter Lee is a big Ajax Strong fan.
