In The Beatles' 1967 Christmas record for members of their fan club, Christmas Time (Is Here Again): The Beatles Fifth Christmas Record, The Beatles mixed songs with bits of comedy sketches, including a snippet of this group singing "Plenty of Jam Jars, Baby" announced by a radio DJ.

The name might be a joking reference to real folk group The Weavers.
