Carole Morgan

Nightclub singer married to jockey Midge Morgan in "The Race-Track Rub-out!" story of comic book The Saint #5 (1949). She sings at Cash Cassidy's Coronado Club, and wants a divorce so she can go off with seedy gambler Cassidy. Morgan ends up murdered- poisoned during the race. The Saint's assistant, Hoppy Uniatz, figures out it was his stableboy, Marbles, who did it to win a long-shot bet.

Carole's maiden name was Vanlee. Her father, Mr. Vanlee, owns the racehorse Blue Blazes that Midge raced. But he never approved of their marriage, blaming him for ruining her life.
