The Angels

Late 1960s-1970s blues-rock band fronted by singer Shelley Maze, protagonist of the British ITV television series No Excuses (1983). Played by Charlotte Cornwell, who was also in Rock Follies. She's just bought a ruinous country manor and dealing with a lot of issues and family.

The eight episode series was also turned into a novel by screenwriter Barrie Keeffe.
