Band used as an example in the 1994 nonfiction work The Songwriter's Market Guide to Song and Demo Submission Formats. Their 1993 demo tape illustrates chapter one, on cassettes.

"Mahalo" is Hawaiian for thanks, so possibly they are Hawaiian. They recorded in Eagle Rock, CA, and their management is out of Los Angeles.

Lineup:

  • Jah Yes, guitar
  • Ima Tuff, bass
  • Buck Young, drums
  • Ivy White, vocals

A sample letter indicates they were to record their debut album for Epic Records in February 1994, but something must have gone horribly wrong, as letters dated November 1994 have them seeking representation and looking for gigs.
