Rod Kane

Handsome, famous radio DJ at station KXY in the "I Had a Second Chance" story of romance comic book All True Romance #3 (December 1951). His voice provides succor to protagonist Mary Adams as she poorly copes with her abusive and unstable husband Henry. When Henry hears Kane say Mary's name because she called in a request, he goes to he station and attacks Kane on the air! Fortunately for Mary, Henry gets hit by a truck and dies after breaking away from the cops and fleeing. Also fortunately for Mary, Kane takes a liking to her, and they fall in love.
