Small-time jazz band in 1927 Kansas City, Missouri, from the 1955 film Pete Kelly's Blues. Cornet player Pete Kelly is played by Dragnet's Jack Webb. Webb was a jazz fan, and actually knew how to play a cornet.

"Pete Kelly's Blues" was originally a 1951 NBC radio series created by Richard L. Breen and starring Jack Webb.

The film spawned a short-lived 1959 NBC television series Pete Kelly's Blues with William Reynolds playing Pete Kelly.
